Open DigiRent → Extras to create optional items customers can add to a rental.

Typical extras include:

• baby seat,
• child booster,
• additional driver,
• navigation device,
• winter tyres,
• portable Wi‑Fi,
• additional mileage,
• roadside assistance.

Depending on the item, billing can be configured per day, per booking or another supported period.

Protection packages

Open DigiRent → Protection to manage protection/insurance-style options.

Examples include:

• Mini damage protection,
• Maximum damage protection,
• Tyre and glass protection,
• Personal accident protection.

Keep all protection wording aligned with your real rental terms. Do not imply legal or insurance coverage that is not actually provided.

Testing

Create a test reservation containing multiple extras and one protection package. Confirm pricing in the booking summary, admin reservation and generated customer documents.
